The Nature of Building

HArquitectes

This lecture presents the work of HARQUITECTES, established in 2000 in Sabadell, Spain by David Lorente Ibáñez, Josep Ricart Ulldemolins, Xavier Ros Majó, and Roger Tudó Galí, after completing their studies together at the Vallès School of Architecture. Their work includes the Clos Pachem Winery, the Civic Centre Lleialtat Santsenca, and House 1413, and has been published most recently in El Croquis 203.

The Berlage Keynotes is an ongoing lecture series featuring internationally prominent architects, designers, and thinkers who are at the forefront of design discourse and innovation. A selection of speakers working from different disciplinary perspectives and in different geographic, cultural, and political contexts present how their work engages with contemporary issues and debates. This fall semester, speakers include MONADNOCK, Formafantasma, Lowie Vermeersch, GROSS.MAX., Matilde Cassani, HArquitectes, Kayoko Ota, and Annette Gigon.

All lectures are viewable online at theberlage.nl and are open to the public at the Orange Room, Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, Delft.
