Raphael Kadid will speak on Daily Dose, a newsletter promoting and sharing visual references— in the form of a series of pictures—depicting the work of artists and architectural practices. It aims to inspire architects and design enthusiasts by showcasing world-class architectural works, highlighting innovative spaces and designs from a global community of practitioners.

The newsletter places itself between traditional architecture publications and blogs, focusing on the monographic aspect of its content. By presenting a selection of images relating to a body of works, each post gives an insight on the approach of a practice.

Initiated in April 2013, the non-profit newsletter is now delivered to more than 12,000 subscribers. It accepts contributions, making it a collaborative platform. An archive of past issues is available on Instagram (@dailydosearchive), enhancing accessibility and engagement.

Raphael Kadid founded the Daily Dose as an internal project at Diener & Diener Architects, which has since evolved into an independent global resource. In addition to his work with the newsletter, Kadid is an architect, designer, and curator based in Basel. He operates a multidisciplinary studio that specializes in architecture, product design, photography, and visual arts. Kadid is recognized for creating minimalist, experimental objects, including modular furniture and lighting designs like the acclaimed "Signal" lamp. His design work often explores the interplay between structure, light, and materiality.

Raphael Kadid is a French architect and designer based in Basel, Switzerland, known for his multidisciplinary work in architecture, product design, photography, and publishing. After graduating from École d'Architecture de la Ville & des Territoires Paris-Est, he worked with Diener & Diener and Buchner Bründler. Since 2021, he has operated independently, focusing on experimental designs through his brand Raphael Kadid Objects. His work blends neo-futurism and primitive architecture, with notable projects like the "Signal" lamp. Kadid also runs the art and architecture newsletterDaily Dose.

The Berlage Sessions is a thematic seven-part seminar series focusing on scholarly research and critical approaches to the history and theory of architecture and urban design. This autumn's series, entitled "Post, Publish, or Perish‽" is exploring how architects engage with various publication forms to disseminate their ideas, promote theirs and others work, engage with broader societal design questions, and influence and establish discourse.
